I adopted beautiful Burbank as my hometown 12 years ago. During that time, I have been a grateful recipient of our high quality of life, and now seek the privilege to give back and serve you, the residents, as a City Council member.  I bring to Council an open-door policy and some fresh energy to work at building consensus and arriving at meaningful solutions.  I will strive to ensure our traditional neighborhoods are preserved while our economic base grows measurably and our City continues to thrive, even as we tackle tough issues ahead like water availability and energy.

These years that I have been living in Burbank, I’ve been like most of you –- working, paying my taxes, paying my bills and enjoying our exceptional quality of life.  As an average Burbank resident myself, I can relate to you and to the concerns we all share.  I bring no pet projects, groups, committees, associations or ties to the table, which leaves me free to pursue only your best interests.

Prior to moving to the area 12 years ago, I practiced law as an attorney in Ohio, where I also owned a small business and worked at an electric generating plant.  I previously interned in the White House Liaison’s Office of the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C., and was chosen to participate in a sister-city/university cultural exchange program in Hungary and Poland.

In California, I have worked as a Legal Consultant, and in the entertainment industry, having produced feature films and documentaries. I am also a member of the Screen Actors Guild.  Following are some highlights from my background:
